Who We Are
Learn how the Indian American STAR Foundation builds youth leadership through arts, culture, education, and service across Olympia and the South Puget Sound.
Built by families, powered by youth.
We create spaces where culture, creativity, and confidence grow.
Our story
From a small initiative to a trusted community organization.
The Indian American STAR Foundation started with a simple belief: every young person deserves space to explore their talents, celebrate their heritage, and become a leader.
Today, we serve 50+ young people across Olympia and the South Puget Sound. We remain committed to one principle: every young person deserves access to transformative programs, regardless of their background or family income.
This work is only possible because of volunteers, donors, and staff who believe deeply in our mission. Together, we're building a community where every young person thrives.

IASF is led by a volunteer board of Thurston County parents and community members who came together in 2025 to expand youth arts, culture, and STEM access in the South Puget Sound. Full board bios are being added as our leadership team grows — email info@iastarfoundation.org to meet the team or get involved as a founding board member.
